Our services to this client complemented fraud detection and prevention
software tools already used by the client, and cover areas not covered by
those software tools. Our services to the client also complement
the services of internal audit, internal controls and forensics.
Our Client found that fraudsters mutate their behaviour to escape detection
by Fraud software which is rule based. Our Client found that they could get more
mileage out of their fraud detection and prevention processes by using our services
to complement their work. A Sysware consultant, working together with
our Client's staff, and people from Offlode (a Data Mining Company),picked up the new
behaviour pattern from the transactions. This enabled our client to put preventative
processes in place.
